Yvonne Sweeney
Yvonne Sweeney is a broadcast journalist who has covered major news stories for more than 30 years at major radio and television stations. She has an MS from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and was an IAPA Fellow at the University of Brasil in Rio de Janeiro.
She is the winner of four Golden Mikes and an Emmy for her work as a broadcast news producer and writer at KNBC Television in Los Angeles.
She was the producer of newscasts at the station for more than 15 years.
She is interested in alternate energy, environmental protection and global warming. These are key issues that will have a major impact on our future and now is the time they must be tackled.
Yvonne’s mission on this website is to focus on news developments that have an impact on alternate fuels and fuels research.
